Major Fire Engulfs Twelve Shops in Kochi’s Broadway

Kochi: A major fire has erupted in Broadway, a prominent commercial hub in the city. The blaze originated in commercial establishments near Sreedhar Theatre. Approximately twelve shops, selling fancy goods and toys, were completely destroyed in the fire.

The fire broke out near Sreedhar Theatre in the early hours of today. The presence of plastic toys and fancy goods in the shops led to the rapid spread of the fire to adjacent establishments.

Upon receiving information, eight units of the fire department promptly arrived at the scene. The fire has since been brought under control. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far.

The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, with authorities currently investigating whether a short circuit was responsible. Due to the area being a busy commercial zone, additional fire units were deployed to prevent the fire from spreading to other buildings.
