Journalist and Presenter Sanal Potty Passes Away at 55

Kochi: Renowned journalist and presenter Sanal Potty passed away today at the age of 55. He had been undergoing prolonged treatment for kidney disease and breathed his last at approximately 3:30 AM this morning.
Sanal Potty was a well-known figure in the Malayalam media landscape, having served as the Public Relations Manager at SCMS College, Kalamassery. His career spanned various television channels, where he distinguished himself as both a presenter and a program producer.
He was particularly recognized for his long tenure as the presenter of Asianet’s popular morning show. Following his impactful work at Asianet, he transitioned to Jeevan TV, where he took on the crucial role of Head of the Program Division while continuing his work as a presenter.
The veteran media personality was diagnosed with kidney disease three years ago, leading to extensive medical treatment. His health condition significantly worsened over the past two weeks, culminating in his peaceful demise. His mortal remains are currently being held at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Manjummel.
