Air India, IndiGo Resume Services After Qatar Attack

Kochi: Air India and IndiGo have resumed flights from Nedumbassery (Kochi) and Karipur (Kozhikode) International Airports following the suspension of services after the recent attack in Qatar.

Air India has recommenced its services to Middle Eastern and European countries. All Air India flights to these regions had been suspended after the Qatar attack.

Due to the closure of Iranian airspace, IndiGo will need to choose alternative routes, which will lead to increased travel times, as stated by IndiGo.

Air India Express services from Kozhikode Airport to Riyadh and Muscat, which were previously cancelled, have now resumed. Air India officials confirmed that the Kozhikode-Riyadh flight scheduled for 8:25 PM and the Kozhikode-Muscat flight at 11:45 PM will operate.

Air India has indicated that it will resume services in phases. The airline also announced that US and Canada services would commence soon, emphasizing that the safety of passengers and crew is its top priority.
