Rahul Gandhi Predicts Huge UDF Victory in Kerala Assembly Elections

Kochi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has expressed confidence that the United Democratic Front (UDF) will achieve a massive victory in the upcoming Assembly elections in Kerala. Speaking at the “Maha Panchayat” organized by the KPCC in Ernakulam, Gandhi stated that the Congress had secured a historic win in the recent local body elections.

Gandhi emphasized the importance of safeguarding every citizen’s right to vote, calling it an essential component of Indian democracy. He highlighted the fundamental difference between the ideologies of the RSS-BJP and the Congress. While the former focuses on centralization, the Congress advocates for decentralization, aiming to empower the people.

He further criticized the RSS-BJP, stating that their ideology seeks to create a populace subservient to their ideas, rather than one whose voice is heard and amplified. Gandhi asserted that the RSS-BJP aims to concentrate the nation’s wealth and pride in the hands of a select few, and to achieve this, they endeavor to suppress democratic voices across India.

Regarding the state’s challenges, Rahul Gandhi pointed out the severe unemployment problem plaguing Kerala, expressing sorrow over the growing trend of young people leaving the state in search of opportunities. He stressed the need for a vision that enables youth to utilize their skills within Kerala itself. Gandhi concluded by affirming his belief that the UDF and Congress leaders in Kerala would work closely with the people, ensuring an accessible government that is responsive to their needs and aspirations.
