Actress Seema G. Nair Backs MLA Rahul Mankootathil Amid Abortion Audio Controversy

Kochi: Actress Seema G. Nair has publicly extended her support to MLA Rahul Mankootathil. Her declaration comes in the wake of leaked audio recordings and chat conversations allegedly related to abortion charges against the MLA. Speaking out on Facebook, the actress affirmed her unwavering stance, stating that she would not be swayed by cyber attacks and emphasized that culpability for mistakes does not lie solely with one gender.

In her detailed Facebook post, Seema G. Nair wrote, ‘Good day. Some issues have resurfaced yesterday, and cyber attacks have begun because of it. A post has come against me from an anonymous person named ‘Theekkutti,’ heavily criticizing me. (‘Theekkutti’ says my time has come, I didn’t know the Lord God incarnated as ‘Theekkutti’… Forgive me, faceless Lord). They wrote that I have been doing PR work for Rahul for the past 3 months, and much more… Now let me say, no matter what ‘Theekkutti’ writes, or how many cyber attacks come like a disturbed beehive, I will stand by my statement. Then and now, I say, if a mistake is made, it should be punished, and only if a mistake is made. A mistake is not solely committed by a man. So, no ‘Theekkutti’ should think that I will get scared and hide in a corner after hearing all this.’

This is not the first instance of sexual allegations surfacing against Rahul Mankootathil. Seema G. Nair had previously voiced her support for him during earlier accusations and reiterated that her position remains unchanged.
