Kochi: The UDF (United Democratic Front) front meeting has decided that P.V. Anvar can be admitted as an associate member of the front, provided he withdraws his derogatory remarks against Nilambur’s UDF candidate, Aryadan Shoukath.
UDF Convener Adoor Prakash informed media personnel that if Anvar retracts his statements against Shoukath and acknowledges him, he will be made an associate member of the front. This decision comes amidst ongoing political maneuvering concerning the Nilambur by-election and Anvar’s strained relationship with the Congress leadership.
