Dalit Congress Leader Dies from Electrocution by Solar Fence in Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram: Wilson, a Dalit Congress block president and an INTUC worker from Palode Peringammala, tragically died after being electrocuted by a solar fence in Thiruvananthapuram.
The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon when Wilson had gone to cut fodder for his goat. When he failed to return home by evening, his relatives and local residents initiated a search operation. His body was later discovered near a solar fence in an area behind Iqbal College.
Upon receiving the information, Palode police promptly arrived at the scene to conduct the inquest procedures. Wilson’s body has since been moved to the mortuary at Palode Government Hospital. Authorities have registered a case and launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the death.
