Thiruvananthapuram: V. Sivankutty, the Minister for Labour and Education, was admitted to a hospital today after experiencing physical discomfort during the Question and Answer session of the Kerala Legislative Assembly. The incident occurred while the minister was responding to questions.
Sources indicate that Minister Sivankutty was addressing a query regarding the issues faced by online delivery workers when he suddenly felt unwell. He was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Later reports confirmed that his health condition is stable and satisfactory. Following the incident, the Speaker directed that other ministers would answer the questions that Minister Sivankutty was scheduled to address. Minister M.B. Rajesh subsequently took over the responsibility of answering those questions.
