Malayali Nurse Among Victims of Tragic Ahmedabad Plane Crash

Thiruvananthapuram: A Malayali woman, Ranjitha from Pullad, Pathanamthitta, has been identified among those who perished in the devastating Ahmedabad plane crash.
Ranjitha, a nurse working in the UK, was previously a nurse with the Kerala Health Service. She was returning to London after taking leave from her government service in Kerala when the tragic accident occurred last night. Her relatives stated that she had come home to extend her leave application. She traveled from Chengannur Railway Station to Nedumbassery (Kochi Airport) and then onward to Ahmedabad. Ranjitha was also working as a nurse at Kozhencherry Hospital while on leave from her government post.
Family Left Devastated
Ranjitha is survived by her two children and her mother. Her elder son is in 10th grade, and her younger daughter is in 3rd grade. Her mother, Thulasi Kuttiamma, is battling cancer. The family was reportedly planning a housewarming ceremony in their new home soon.
