Former DGP Jacob Thomas Attends RSS Pathasanchalan in Uniform in Ernakulam

Kochi: Former Director General of Police (DGP) Jacob Thomas was seen participating in an RSS Pathasanchalan (march) in Ernakulam, donning the organization’s full uniform. The event was part of the Vijaya Dashami Mahotsavam held in Pallikkara, Ernakulam.

Reports concerning Jacob Thomas’s increasing involvement with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) have been circulating for some time. His recent appearance in the distinctive RSS uniform at a public gathering serves to confirm these earlier speculations.

Addressing the attendees, Jacob Thomas emphasized the RSS’s objective of nation-building through the timely empowerment of its people. He articulated his belief that a nation grows stronger as its individual citizens gain strength.

Jacob Thomas has consistently maintained close affiliations with both the RSS and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). His political engagement includes contesting as a BJP candidate from the Iringalakkuda constituency in the 2021 assembly elections. Furthermore, he has been a participant in various other events organized by the RSS prior to this latest appearance.
