Gram Panchayat Member Passes Away in Kannur

Kannur, December 30: Suresh Babu Thandarath, a member of the Peralassery Gram Panchayat, has passed away. He was undergoing treatment for an illness at the time of his demise.

Suresh Babu was known for his significant upset victory from the Bavode East Ward, a traditional stronghold of the CPI(M). He secured this victory with a margin of 13 votes, demonstrating his strong local support.
