Rahul Mankootathil’s Disappearance: Young Actress to be Questioned in Red Polo Car Case
PALAKKAD: The investigation team is preparing to question a young actress in connection with the disappearance of MLA Rahul Mankootathil. Earlier reports indicated that Rahul escaped in a red Volkswagen Polo car, and the young actress in question is reportedly the owner of this vehicle. Authorities expect to conduct the questioning imminently.
Police intend to summon the actress by issuing an official notice. Investigations have confirmed that Rahul and the actress share a close association. Notably, the actress had previously participated in various events related to Rahul’s ‘Smile Housing Project’ in his constituency, including foundation stone laying ceremonies, further highlighting their connection.
Sources suggest that the police have already made telephonic contact with the actress. The red Volkswagen Polo car at the center of the investigation has been confirmed to be in Palakkad since last Wednesday. Crucial information leading to this development was reportedly obtained by the investigation team after questioning Rahul Mankootathil’s personal staff and driver.
Meanwhile, Rahul recently submitted additional evidence against the complainant in the ongoing case. He presented three pieces of evidence in a sealed cover to the Thiruvananthapuram District Court. These digital documents, submitted as three separate files, are intended to counter the complainant’s allegations.
The submitted evidence comprises photographs, hash value certificates of WhatsApp chats, and records of phone conversations. Rahul, who is currently absconding, submitted these proofs through his legal counsel. This marks the second instance where Rahul Mankootathil has provided additional evidence against the young woman since he filed his anticipatory bail application.
