Actor Dileep Visits Taliparamba Rajarajeshwara Temple, Offers ‘Ponnumkudam’

Kannur: Actor Dileep visited the renowned Taliparamba Rajarajeshwara Temple today, performing a significant offering of ‘Ponnumkudam’. He arrived at the temple in the morning to participate in the rituals.

The visit comes after Dileep, who was the eighth accused in the infamous actress assault case, was previously acquitted by the trial court. The court’s order explicitly stated that the charge of conspiracy against the actor would not stand. Meanwhile, the court yesterday delivered its verdict for the other accused in the case, sentencing all of them to 20 years in prison.

The Rajarajeshwara Temple holds significant importance as a regular pilgrimage destination for prominent leaders from both Kerala and Karnataka. Notable political figures, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, have previously visited the temple and made the ‘Ponnumkudam’ offering.
