A YouTuber and her friend have been arrested in Kochi for possession of MDMA. Rincy and her friend Yasir Arafath, both natives of Kozhikode, were taken into custody by Thrikkakara Police.
The arrests followed a raid on their apartment in Palachuvadu, Kakkanad, where 22.5 grams of MDMA were seized. The DANSAF (District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force) team conducted the search based on confidential information. Following the raid, the accused were subjected to medical examination.
Both Rincy and Yasir informed the police that they had obtained the MDMA from an individual back in their hometown. Police stated that investigations are ongoing to determine the source of the MDMA and other related details.
