21-year-old Woman, Married Four Months Ago, Ends Life After Sending Message to Mother Before Death
Kasaragod: A 21-year-old woman, who was married just four months ago, was found dead by suicide at her husband’s home in Melparamba, Kasaragod. The deceased has been identified as K. Nandana, wife of Ranjesh from Alinkal Thottiyil house, Aramangalam, Melparamba. She was discovered hanging in her bedroom on Sunday afternoon.
According to reports, Nandana had sent a message to her mother shortly before her death, indicating her intention to end her life. Nandana was the only daughter of K. Ravi and Seena, natives of Ayampaara Villarampeti, Periya. She and Ranjesh were in love and got married on April 26.
On Sunday morning, after Nandana sent the message to her mother, her family immediately informed Ranjesh’s relatives. Following this, a search was launched, leading to the discovery of Nandana hanging in her room. As the room was locked from the inside, family members had to break open the door to gain entry.
Melparamba police have registered a case in connection with the incident. Inquest proceedings were completed under the leadership of RDO Binu Joseph and SI K.N. Suresh Kumar.
