Suresh Gopi Suggests Sadanandan Master for Minister Post, Citing Loss of Film Income

Kannur: Union Minister Suresh Gopi recently expressed his profound interest in the film industry, lamenting that his significant income from cinema had ceased after he stepped away from it. He openly conveyed his wish to be relieved of his ministerial duties and suggested that C. Sadanandan Master be appointed as a minister in his place.

These statements were made during the inauguration of C. Sadanandan Master’s MP office in Mattannur, an event that also marked a reception for Master. Suresh Gopi offered a prayer, expressing his hope that the newly opened office would soon transform into a minister’s office.

Reflecting on his political journey, Gopi acknowledged the party’s responsibility towards him as the first Member of Parliament elected by the people in Kerala. He attributed his appointment as a Union Minister to this very responsibility.

Further elaborating on his personal aspirations, Suresh Gopi emphasized his desire to live primarily as a human being, rather than a politician. He starkly stated his aversion to being a politician who conceals difficulties behind a smile, suggesting that those who present an outwardly cheerful facade often lead people into perilous situations.
