All India Trinamool Congress Expels Thrissur District Chief Coordinator N.K. Sudheer

The All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) has announced the expulsion of its Thrissur District Chief Coordinator, N.K. Sudheer, from the party. State Convener P.V. Anwar stated on Facebook that the decision was based on severe anti-party activities that came to light. Anwar clarified that Sudheer has been expelled from the party for a period of three years.

N.K. Sudheer, who was formerly an AICC member and a prominent leader of the Dalit Congress, joined P.V. Anwar starting from the Palakkad by-election. Subsequently, Sudheer became a close confidant of Anwar. Sudheer had contested the Chelakkara by-election with the support of the DMK, led by P.V. Anwar.

In the Chelakkara by-election, Sudheer secured 3,920 votes. Previously, N.K. Sudheer had also contested as a Congress candidate in the Alathur Lok Sabha constituency. He has held various positions, including KPCC Secretary.
