Man Dies in Tragic Bridge Incident in Kozhikode

Kozhikode, October 1, 2025 – A shocking incident occurred at the Thusharagiri Arch Model Bridge in Kozhikode today, where a man met a tragic end after jumping from the bridge with a rope tied around his neck. The force of the fall resulted in the man’s head being severed, with his body plunging into the river below while his head remained suspended by the rope from the bridge’s handrail.

The grim discovery was made on Wednesday morning by tourists visiting the area, who were horrified to find only a head hanging from the rope. They immediately alerted the Kodanchery police, who swiftly responded to the scene and commenced their investigation.
