Report: No Evidence Against Vlogger Mukesh M. Nair in POCSO Case

Police have reported that there is no evidence to press POCSO charges against vlogger Mukesh M. Nair. The investigation team submitted a report to the court stating that there is no proof of sexual harassment against the minor girl.

According to the police report, the only charge remaining against Mukesh is the sharing of visuals of a minor on social media. The report also notes that certain details added to the girl’s statement later, which were not present in her initial complaint, are suspicious. A review of the filmed footage revealed nothing unusual, the report stated.

A POCSO case was registered against Mukesh M. Nair in April, following allegations that he forcibly made a minor girl semi-nude and touched her private parts during a reels shoot. The Kovalam Police filed the case based on a complaint from the 15-year-old girl’s parents. The shooting for the reel took place at a resort in Kovalam in February. The reel garnered significant criticism after being shared on social media.

A case was also filed against the coordinator who brought the girl to the shoot for this incident. Furthermore, Mukesh M. Nair has previously faced police cases for creating videos that promote alcohol consumption.
