Kerala: 85 Arrested in Statewide Anti-Drug Operation ‘D-Hunt’

Thiruvananthapuram: As part of “Operation D-Hunt,” a special statewide drive conducted on Wednesday, May 21st, Kerala Police arrested 85 individuals. A total of 1992 people suspected of involvement in drug sales were subjected to checks during this single day. In connection with possessing various types of prohibited drugs, 82 cases were registered.
During the inspections, authorities seized 2.2668 kilograms of ganja and 0.4 grams of MDMA. Other illicit drugs were also confiscated in various raids. Operation D-Hunt is a statewide initiative aimed at identifying individuals involved in the storage and sale of prohibited narcotics and initiating strict legal action against them.
