Worker Dies in Landslide at Kozhikode Construction Site

A tragic landslide at Nellicode, Kozhikode, has resulted in the death of a construction worker. The incident occurred at the site of a private flat construction near the new six-lane bypass adjacent to the city. Earth collapsed onto the workers, trapping them.

Three workers were involved in the accident. Two of them were rescued, but one remained trapped under the debris. Firefighters, aided by locals, conducted rescue operations to extract the worker. Reports indicate that further soil collapse occurred even during the rescue efforts.
