Tourist Bus Overturns in Pathanamthitta: Students Injured in Accident
A tourist bus carrying students overturned at Kallukuzhi in Kadampanad, Pathanamthitta. The bus lost control and tipped over, resulting in injuries to many passengers. The vehicle was part of a group heading to Vagamon for a recreational trip.
The passengers included B.Ed students and teachers from Fathima Memorial Training College, Kollam. The group was traveling in two buses, and the accident occurred when one of the buses lost control and overturned around 6:30 AM near Kallukuzhi.
Authorities are investigating whether overspeeding was the cause of the accident. The overturned bus had 51 passengers on board, of which approximately 46 sustained minor injuries. The injured have been admitted to Adoor Taluk Hospital and nearby private hospitals.
