Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Meteorological Department has issued a rain forecast for the next five days, with a yellow alert declared for several districts due to the possibility of isolated heavy rainfall.

The yellow alert has been issued for the following districts:
* November 8, 2025: Pathanamthitta, Idukki
* November 9, 2025: Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta
* November 10, 2025: Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha

Isolated heavy rainfall is predicted, which is defined as precipitation ranging from 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm within a 24-hour period.

Additionally, the Central Meteorological Department has indicated the likelihood of light rain in isolated areas of Pathanamthitta district over the next three hours.
