Former MLA P.M. Mathew Passes Away at 75 in Kottayam

Kottayam: P.M. Mathew, a former Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) and a prominent leader of the Kerala Congress, passed away at the age of 75. He had been receiving treatment for kidney-related ailments at a private hospital in Pala and succumbed to his illness this morning. Mathew served as an MLA, representing the Kaduthuruthy constituency in the Legislative Assembly from 1991 to 1996.
In recent times, P.M. Mathew was associated with the Kerala Congress (Joseph) faction. However, due to his health issues, he had withdrawn from active politics and organizational roles for some time.
