Kerala Weather Update: Change in Alert; Heavy Rain to Continue; Yellow Alert in Various Districts

Thiruvananthapuram: The rain alert in the state has changed. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that heavy rainfall will continue in Kerala for the next 5 days. Yellow alerts have been declared in various districts as part of the rain forecast for the next 5 days.
On December 3rd, yellow alerts have been issued for four districts: Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, and Idukki. No specific rain warnings have been declared for any districts today. However, there is a possibility of light rain in all 14 districts.
The IMD also announced that isolated light rainfall is likely in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, and Ernakulam districts of Kerala during the next 3 hours. The forecast indicates the possibility of isolated heavy rainfall, which means precipitation ranging from 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm within 24 hours.
