Kerala Weather Update: Heavy Rains to Continue, Yellow Alerts Issued for Multiple Districts

Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced a change in Kerala’s rain warning, predicting the continuation of heavy rainfall across the state today. Yellow alerts have been issued for several districts as part of the five-day rain probability forecast.
For today, November 13, 2025, yellow alerts are in effect for three districts: Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, and Pathanamthitta. The forecast indicates the possibility of isolated heavy rainfall. According to the IMD, “heavy rain” signifies precipitation between 64.5 millimeters and 115.5 millimeters within a 24-hour period.
Furthermore, the Central Meteorological Department has also indicated a likelihood of light rain in the Pathanamthitta and Idukki districts of Kerala within the next three hours.
