Two Youths Killed in Palakkad National Highway Accident

PALAKKAD: Two young men tragically lost their lives in a road accident that occurred at Anjumurthimangalam on National Highway 544 in Vadakkancherry, Palakkad. The fatal incident took place around 9 PM on Monday when a car struck the youths as they were attempting to cross the highway.

The deceased have been identified as Shibu, 27, a resident of Panjamparambu, Thekkethara, Mangalam, Vadakkancherry, and Kishor, 26, from Chemmanamkattil, Pallavoor, who was visiting Mangalam. The car involved in the accident was reportedly heading towards Thrissur when it hit the two individuals.

Following the collision, both youths sustained severe injuries. They were immediately rushed to a private hospital located in Irattakulam but unfortunately succumbed to their injuries. The Vadakkancherry police promptly arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation and initiate necessary legal proceedings regarding the incident.
