Student Injured After Falling From Moving KSRTC Bus in Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram: A student sustained injuries after falling out of a moving KSRTC bus in Pachalloor. The incident occurred when the bus door unexpectedly opened, causing the young woman to fall onto the road.
The injured student has been identified as Mariyam, a 22-year-old enrolled at the Sree Chithra Institute. She had boarded the bus from the Panavila area. Following the accident, Mariyam was promptly transported to a private hospital in Ambalathara for immediate medical attention. She is currently undergoing detailed examinations, including a scan, to assess the extent of her injuries.
The KSRTC bus was en route from Poovar to Thiruvananthapuram when the incident took place. Preliminary investigations suggest that the door may have opened due to the strap of Mariyam’s bag becoming entangled in the door’s latch mechanism.
