Engineering Student Dies After Collapsing in Kannur

An engineering student tragically died in Kannur after collapsing on campus. Alphonsa Jacob, a second-year Cyber Security student at Vimal Jyothi Engineering College in Chemperi, collapsed at the college premises this morning.

Following the incident, college teachers and staff promptly rushed Alphonsa to a private hospital in Chemperi. However, despite their immediate efforts, they were unable to save her life. Alphonsa Jacob was the daughter of Caramel Chacko, residing in Nellikkampoil, Ulikkal.

The body of the deceased student has been moved to the mortuary of Kannur Medical College Hospital in Pariyaram for further procedures.
