Rahul Mamkootathil MLA Visits Sabarimala Amidst Sexual Allegation Controversy

Pathanamthitta: Palakkad MLA Rahul Mamkootathil has arrived at Sabarimala for darshan amidst ongoing sexual allegation controversies, following his recent appearance in the Legislative Assembly. Mamkootathil proceeded to Sabarimala after performing the traditional ‘Kettunira’ ritual at a temple near his home in Adoor.
Rahul Mamkootathil reached Pampa around 10 PM on Wednesday night. From Pampa, he commenced his pilgrimage to Sannidhanam after completing the Kettunira ceremony. He is expected to complete his darshan and return in the early morning hours.
Earlier, Palakkad MLA Rahul Mamkootathil had ended widespread speculation by attending the Legislative Assembly session despite the storm of sexual allegation controversies surrounding him. His attendance in the assembly notably came despite dissenting views from Leader of Opposition V D Satheesan and a section of Congress leaders. Mamkootathil had entered the assembly on the first day of the session with extreme discretion.
Following his assembly appearance, Rahul Mamkootathil had stated that he would become active in his constituency starting Saturday. During the session, he was observed seated in a special block at the very back of the opposition benches.
