SBI Bank Manager Dies in Palakkad Road Accident; Father Injured

Palakkad: In a tragic incident, an SBI bank manager died and his father sustained injuries after a pickup van collided with their motorcycle in Vadakkancherry, Palakkad district. The deceased has been identified as Krishnadas, manager of the Vadakkancherry SBI branch and a resident of Kunnath House on Palatt Road, Ottapalam.

The accident occurred on Wednesday night around 7:30 PM, in front of the HDFC Bank in Vadakkancherry town. According to reports, the pickup van was traveling at excessive speed and attempting to overtake another vehicle from the opposite direction when it struck the bike carrying Krishnadas and his father, Rajasekharan.

Krishnadas suffered severe head injuries and tragically died on the spot. His father, Rajasekharan, sustained injuries in the collision and is currently receiving medical attention.
