Kerala Opposition Leader Slams Health Minister Over Medical Equipment Row
V.D. Satheesan Alleges Conspiracy Against Doctor Amidst Missing Surgical Equipment Controversy
Kerala’s Leader of Opposition, V.D. Satheesan, has sharply criticized Health Minister Veena George in connection with the ongoing controversy surrounding the missing surgical equipment at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College.
Satheesan alleged that the press conference held by the Principal today was a “conspiracy led by the Health Minister” aimed at silencing health workers. “The Opposition in Kerala will not allow even a speck of dirt to fall on Dr. Haris,” V.D. Satheesan stated emphatically.
He further elaborated that Dr. Haris had “revealed that ‘Health Kerala is on ventilator.'” Satheesan strongly defended Dr. Haris, emphasizing, “They are trying to persecute a person who does not take even one rupee as a bribe and lives for the patients, by framing him in a theft case. The Opposition will thwart these attempts at any cost.”
