Kerala Teachers to Receive Snake-Catching Training
Forest Department to Impart Scientific Methods to Prevent Snakebite Incidents

Teachers in Kerala are set to receive specialized training in snake-catching, an initiative by the Forest Department. The primary objective of this program is to equip teachers with scientific methods for safely handling snakes during emergencies, thereby preventing snakebite-related accidents.
The training is scheduled to take place on August 11 in Palakkad. The program will run from 9 AM to 5 PM at the Aranya Bhavan Compound in Olavakkode. A letter has been issued requesting the participation of interested school teachers from Palakkad district in this crucial training session.
This initiative is a proactive step by the authorities to enhance safety and awareness, particularly in areas where human-snake encounters are common, and to minimize the risks associated with such incidents.
