Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a high-temperature alert for Kerala. Temperatures are expected to rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius above normal today and tomorrow. Authorities have urged the public to remain cautious as the combination of high temperatures and humid air could result in uncomfortable weather conditions.

In light of the rising temperatures, the State Disaster Management Authority has issued precautionary guidelines for the public. Prolonged exposure to high heat can lead to serious health issues, including heatstroke, dehydration, and sunburn. Residents are advised to follow these safety measures to protect themselves from the adverse effects of the heat.
