At the upcoming Indian Super League 2024-25 season, the Kerala Blasters fans will see a new face leading them on from the touchline – Coach Mikael Stahre. The 48-year-old joins on a two-year contract that will keep him at the helm of Kerala Blasters FC until 2026. Stahre’s most notable achievements include leading AIK to the Swedish Allsvenskan title (league title), Svenska Cupen (cup), and Supercupen (cup), and guiding IFK Göteborg to the Svenska Cupen (cup). The new head coach will be joined by Björn Wesström and Frederico Pereira Morais as assistant coach and assistant coach for set pieces, respectively.
The preparations for the ISL 2024-25 season also include the signings of Goalkeepers Nora Fernandes and Som Kumar. Joining them in the team is winger R Lathanmawia, Defender Likmabam Rakesh and forward Noah Sadaoui. Additionally, the Kerala Blasters have extended contracts of key players like Miloš Drinčić.
