‘Women Support Rahul Mamkootathil, Ganging Up Will Backfire on Government’: PV Abdul Wahab MP

Malappuram: Muslim League leader P.V. Abdul Wahab MP has come out in defense of MLA Rahul Mamkootathil. Speaking after casting his vote with his wife Jasmine at Nilambur Model U.P. School, where he is a voter in the first division of Nilambur Municipality, Wahab offered his perspective on the ongoing issue.

Abdul Wahab stated that the concerted effort to target and attack Rahul Mamkootathil would ultimately prove detrimental to the government. He highlighted that women, in particular, are showing strong support for Rahul on this matter. The MP further added that the motivations behind such issues surfacing during an election period are clear and understood by many, including women. He concluded by clarifying that his stance is neither to oppose nor to unequivocally justify Rahul Mamkootathil, but rather to point out the potential repercussions for the government.
