Three-Year-Old Dies in Kozhikode Road Accident After Bus Hits Scooter
Kozhikode: A tragic road accident in Kozhikode claimed the life of a three-year-old boy after a private bus collided with a scooter from behind on Wednesday evening. The victim has been identified as Muhammad Hiban, son of Karangadan Jasin, a resident of Keezhuparamba Othupalli Purayi in Malappuram.
The incident occurred at the Maadambaramb bend in North Karassery, located on the Edavanna-Koyilandy state highway. Both vehicles were traveling in the same direction when the private bus attempted to overtake the scooter, leading to the collision.
Upon impact, the scooter overturned onto the road, and young Muhammad Hiban was tragically thrown under the bus. Despite being rushed to the hospital immediately, medical efforts to save his life were unsuccessful. Following the accident, local police took the driver of the private bus into custody for further investigation.
