Tata Motors Set to Unveil Harrier EV on June 3rd, Promising Premium Electric Experience

New Delhi: Tata Motors, a prominent Indian automobile manufacturer, is slated to officially unveil the electric vehicle (EV) variant of its popular SUV, the Harrier, in India on June 3rd. This new offering is expected to be the most expensive and largest EV in Tata’s current lineup. The Harrier EV was previously showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo, generating considerable anticipation.
The electric version of the Harrier retains the imposing stance and borrows design cues from its regular counterpart, ensuring a familiar yet distinct aesthetic. However, the EV will arrive packed with advanced features such as Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-External (V2X) capabilities, along with a “Summon” function. “Summon” is essentially a self-park feature, likely to be offered only on the top-specification models. A single charge is anticipated to provide a range of 500 kilometers. While the company has not yet disclosed details about the car’s other hardware, the Tata Harrier EV is expected to be priced between ₹24 lakh and ₹28 lakh.
From the front, the Harrier EV features prominent LED DRLs, a position lamp, a closed-off grille, a new logo, and an air dam designed similarly to other electric models in Tata’s lineup. Quad-beam LED projection headlamps are integrated into the bumper. Inside, the vehicle is expected to boast a 12.5-inch infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and Tata’s new steering wheel. Furthermore, prioritizing safety, the Harrier EV is anticipated to be equipped with Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) features.
The Harrier EV will also see significant innovations, including in its climate control panel. It is built on Tata’s second-generation EV architecture and will feature an all-wheel-drive system, hinting at its robust performance capabilities. Manufacturers have indicated that the Harrier EV will be powered by a dual electric motor setup, signaling a powerful and capable electric SUV for the Indian market.
