Swami Chidanandapuri Urges Hindus to Have at Least Three Children to Boost Population

Kottayam: Swami Chidanandapuri has issued a fervent call for an increase in the Hindu population within Kerala. During a gathering of Swamis in Kottayam, he urged Hindu families to have a minimum of three children.

Elaborating on his appeal, Swami Chidanandapuri, who is also the head of the Kolathur Advaithashramam, suggested that if a family is blessed with four children, one of them should be dedicated to becoming a Sanyasi, embracing a life of spiritual devotion.

The Swami underscored his concerns by referencing a statement attributed to Colonel Gaddafi, who reportedly predicted that Muslims would conquer the world through population growth. He presented statistics indicating a significant demographic shift in India, stating that the Muslim population has increased by 24.6 percent, while the Hindu population has simultaneously decreased by 4.5 percent.

In addition to his call for increased birth rates, Swami Chidanandapuri also appealed to the Hindu community to cast their votes for political representatives who actively champion and protect Hindu interests. His remarks were made as part of a significant procession involving various Swamis in Kottayam, drawing attention to demographic trends and their potential societal implications.
