Stage Collapses at Arts Festival in Kollam; Teacher and Two Students Injured

Paravoor: Three individuals, including a teacher, sustained injuries when a temporary stage collapsed during an arts festival. The incident occurred at the Paravoor Poothakulam Government Higher Secondary School.

The temporary pandal (tent) erected for the arts festival gave way shortly after the competitions commenced, succumbing to strong winds and heavy rainfall.

Teacher Reshmi, who suffered serious injuries in the collapse, was promptly admitted to Parippally Medical College Hospital for urgent medical attention. The other two students who were injured in the mishap also received necessary treatment.
