Rajmohan Unnithan: ‘No Girl Has Filed Complaint Against Me, Nor Alleged Illegitimate Pregnancy’

NEW DELHI: MP Rajmohan Unnithan stated that he would not change his stance fearing cyber attacks. He emphasized that panchayat elections offer opportunities for ordinary workers who have helped elect people like him to parliament. No leader should be willing to sabotage their opportunities, he added.

The Congress party needs a clear stance and value-based politics, from which it should not deviate. He also stated that he would meet the media after the local self-government elections.

Responding to John Brittas’ remark, “Say everything you have to say,” the MP said he recently learned that Brittas had such affection for him. Unnithan alleged that it was Brittas’ party that gheraoed and attacked him in Manjeri. He faced all kinds of trials, he asserted, adding that no girl has filed a complaint against him, nor has there been any complaint of him causing an illegitimate pregnancy.

Rajmohan Unnithan had stated previously that the image of the Indian National Congress party was being tarnished for the sake of an individual named Rahul Mankootathil. He questioned whether the movement should be sacrificed for one person, suggesting that this has dimmed the party’s prospects. Currently, the party holds a certain standing and value in public society, but things are moving towards losing this, Unnithan added.

Unnithan warned that if attempts are made to silence influential individuals in the Congress through cyber attacks, he would reveal more. “If cyber attacks against me continue, I will hold a press conference and disclose everything. Don’t make me speak. Don’t provoke me unnecessarily. I know about many cases. If the cyber attacks persist, I will hold a press conference and tell all,” Rajmohan Unnithan stated.
