Pedestrian Injured by Liquor Bottle Thrown from Train in Kozhikode

Kozhikode: A pedestrian sustained serious injuries on Sunday evening after being struck by a liquor bottle hurled from a moving train near Koyilandy railway station. The incident involved the Thiruvananthapuram-Porbandar Express, which was en route from Kozhikode to Kannur when the bottle was thrown.

The injured individual has been identified as Adithyan, a resident of Perambra. He was walking along the railway track’s edge after disembarking from a train when the incident occurred. Adithyan suffered facial injuries and damage to his teeth. He was promptly admitted to a private hospital for immediate medical treatment and is currently undergoing care.
