Mohanlal’s Daughter Vismaya Mohanlal to Debut as Lead in Jude Anthany Joseph Film ‘Thudakkam’

Vismaya Mohanlal, daughter of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, is set to make her cinematic debut as the lead actress in a film directed by Jude Anthany Joseph. The film’s title, ‘Thudakkam’ (Beginning), was officially announced by Aashirvad Cinemas.

The movie is being produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, marking their 37th production. Actor Mohanlal took to social media to extend his heartfelt wishes to his daughter. “Dearest Mayakutty, may your ‘Thudakkam’ be the first step in a lifelong love affair with cinema,” Mohanlal penned.

Director Jude Anthany Joseph expressed his sentiment on Facebook, calling this opportunity a “destiny.” He wrote, “When my Lalettan (Mohanlal) and Suchi Chechi (Suchitra Mohanlal) entrusted me with dear Maya’s first film, I saw the joy and hope in their eyes. I will not disappoint you, Lalettan.”
