Maruti Suzuki Increases Prices Across Models Effective February 1

Maruti Suzuki India has announced a price hike for its various car models, effective February 1. The company stated that prices have been increased by up to ₹32,500 across models. Popular models like the WagonR will see a price rise of up to ₹15,000, while the Swift will cost ₹5,000 more. SUVs such as the Brezza and Grand Vitara will witness hikes of up to ₹20,000 and ₹25,000, respectively.
Entry-level hatchbacks like the Alto K10 will see an increase of up to ₹19,500, and the S-Presso’s price will go up by ₹5,000. In its regulatory filing, Maruti Suzuki attributed the price hikes to rising operational costs and increased raw material prices.
“While the company remains committed to minimizing costs and mitigating the impact on customers, we are compelled to pass on a portion of these increased costs to the market,” the company stated.
Under the new pricing, the ex-showroom price of the compact Celerio will rise by up to ₹32,500, and the premium model Invicto will cost ₹30,000 more. Additionally, the Baleno will see a price hike of ₹9,000, and the compact sedan Dzire’s price will rise by ₹10,000.
Maruti Suzuki currently offers vehicles ranging from the entry-level Alto K10, priced at ₹3.99 lakh, to the premium Invicto, priced at ₹28.92 lakh.
