KSRTC Driver Found Dead After Stopping Bus on National Highway in Thrissur

A KSRTC bus driver, who stopped his moving bus on the national highway and disembarked, was found dead by suicide in Thrissur. The deceased has been identified as Babu (45), a native of Chathmangalam in Nemmara, Palakkad, from Namboodiriparambu house. He was discovered hanging under the Manali bridge.

Babu was driving a fast passenger bus operating on the Ernakulam-Palakkad route. On Saturday evening, he stopped the bus near the Paliyekkara Toll Plaza and left the vehicle. Following his disappearance, the conductor of the bus made arrangements for the passengers to continue their journey on another bus.

A subsequent search operation was launched to locate Babu, which ultimately led to the discovery of his body by hanging.
