Google Maps Mishap: Jeep Falls into Canal in Kothamangalam

Google Maps has once again led a driver astray, resulting in a jeep falling into a canal. The incident occurred around 8:45 PM last night when Boni’s jeep, traveling from Kothamangalam towards Punnapuram, mistakenly plunged into the Kochammanam canal.

The jeep, which was heading from MC Road via Podiyadi towards Ambalappuzha, was directed by Google Maps to take the Kochammanam road. Following the Google Maps instructions, and unfamiliar with the narrow road, the jeep ended up in the canal. Rony was on his way to Punnapuram for Ayurvedic treatment. Locals quickly gathered at the scene and rescued the young man.
