CPM Worker Found Dead in Election Committee Office in Palakkad

Palakkad: A Communist Party of India (Marxist) worker was discovered dead by suicide inside an election committee office in Palakkad. The deceased has been identified as Shivan, a 40-year-old resident of Padalikkad.

Shivan was found in the election office, which had been set up for the upcoming polls in the Padalikkad ward of Maruthode panchayat. He had reportedly left his home on Sunday morning after consuming tea.

Upon discovery of the incident, Malampuzha Police immediately arrived at the scene and have commenced an investigation into the matter. As of now, the precise cause of death remains unclear, and authorities are working to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.
